The first half ends with the Australians winning 1-0 as the referee blows his whistle.
As the second half gets underway, Tunisia instantly shifts into attack mode, controlling ball possession and earning two corners and a free kick in the first few minutes. The second half has off to a promising start thus far. The Australians have a few opportunities to extend their lead as well. Goodwin collected the ball and sent a low cross through the goalpost while a teammate attempted to push the ball into the goal but was unable to make touch.
Both teams are engaged in a back-and-forth struggle, with Australia maintaining the lead and playing it safe while Tunisia tries valiantly to score an equaliser only when there is a chance. This continues throughout the second half, but it all comes to a stop when the referee blows his whistle to signal the end of the game after 7 minutes of overtime.
